NYC Industry Presentation of New Musical INK & PAINT

This past January, Miyuki performed in Newport NewWorks’ presentation of Danielle E. Moore & Marjorie Duffield’s new musical INK & PAINT, which tells the story of the five women behind Disney’s golden age of animation. Following the musical’s development at the NewWorks Festival in the summer, Miyuki stepped into the historical role of the Nisei Japanese American animator, Gyo Fujikawa. The reading was directed by Liz Carlson, music directed by Josh Kight, and presented at Roundabout’s Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre in the Black Box Theatre.

BEAU THE MUSICAL

Following an extended and sold-out summer run at Theater 154 , Miyuki reprised her role of Daphney in BEAU THE MUSICAL Off-Broadway at Out of the Box Theatrics’ new space at St. Luke’s Church on 46th and 8th. Earlier in the year, Miyuki made her Off-Broadway debut originating this actor-musician role downtown. A queer coming-of-age story told by a band of eight actor-musicians, BEAU is a new musical written by Douglas Lyons (book & music) and Ethan Pakchar (music) and directed by Josh Rhodes. Following a successful world premiere album produced by Sony Masterworks Broadway, BEAU’s Off-Broadway runs received much buzz and critical acclaim. BEAU ran downtown at Theater 154 all summer and uptown at St. Luke’s Theatre from October through January, 2026.

JO - THE LITTLE WOMEN MUSICAL at West End’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane

In January 2026, Miyuki made her West End debut in a staged concert of JO - THE LITTLE WOMEN MUSICAL at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The concert was directed by JoAnn M. Hunter. Miyuki has been a collaborator in the development of JO - THE LITTLE WOMEN MUSICAL since 2021. After years of concerts and readings, this new musical rendition of the Little Women featuring a sweeping score by composer Dan Redfeld is finally gaining momentum. In anticipation of its West End concert, JO released a studio album recorded at Abbey Road Studios which also features Miyuki as Sallie Gardiner along with Broadway legends Christine Ebersole, Laura Benanti, and Bob Gunton in spring of 2025.

Miyuki can be heard as Beth March on demos here & here.
